Scope & Content:
Very interesting colored postcard of Seattle and King Street Station and Union Station. The caption on the front reads "Looking up Fourth Avenue the King Street Station at the left, the Oregon–Washington at the right. " The back of the postcard has a one cent Washington stamp and a 1915 World's Panama Pacific Exposition hand cancel.
The postcard was sent from Seattle July 14, 4PM 1915 to Mr. Roland Moser of Muir, PA. The text of the letter says: "Seattle, Wash. July 14. Soon the 'Schwalms will homeward fly.' We are sorry to leave this delightful climate. No sweating here and no thunderstorms. The vegetation is beautiful. Roses galore. No winter worth mentioning here. Would like to bring my little farm out here. Wishers are not houses. All well. A.P.S."
