Ohio Match Company 4

This Heisler-type geared locomotive (Heisler Locomotive Works, 1923) was operated by Ohio Match Company, then National Pole and Treating Company, later renamed Minnesota and Ontario Paper Company. It is a two-truck Heisler-type geared locomotive and pulled or switched log and lumber trains throughout its career in Idaho and Washington. Number 4 was retired in 1958 and purchased by Charles Morrow of Snoqualmie, who in turn sold it to the Northwest Railway Museum in 1967. It is currently on display in unrestored condition in the Train Shed Exhibit Hall.
