The Northwest Railway Museum’s educational programming details the railway’s impact on Pacific Northwest history with lessons, tours, and activities adaptable to learners of all ages.

School Train Field Trip

Includes a train ride, tour, and activities at the Train Shed Exhibit Hall.

Grade Level: Programming for all learners, tailored to the ages/grade level of your group.
Admission: $10/passenger. Educators and 1 Chaperone per 10 students free. Under age 2 are free.
Availability: Northwest Railway Museum scheduled dates in the Fall and Spring on select Thursdays.
Duration: Approximately 1.5 – 2 hours.
Note: Minimum group size of 25 passengers.

Trackside Field Trip

Includes a tour and activities at the Train Shed Exhibit Hall. Does not include a train ride.

Grade Level: Programming for all learners, tailored to the ages/grade level of your group.
Admission: $5 admission per group member aged 2 and up. Educator and 1 Chaperone per 10 students free. Under age 2 are free.
Availability: Northwest Railway Museum scheduled dates in the Fall and Spring on select Wednesdays or Fridays.
Duration: Approximately 1-1.5 hours.

Let the Railway Come to Your Classroom

A lesson presented in your space on the impact of railways on state and regional history.

Grade Level: Programming tailored to the ages/grade level of your group.
Price: $75 for 45 min presentation, $20 each additional classroom presentation on the same day.
Duration: 45 minutes.
Note: Limited to 20-mile radius from Snoqualmie. Additional $5 per mile outside the radius.
