As part of The Real Twin Peaks Festival, join the Northwest Railway Museum for a 21+ event themed around the beloved show. Enjoy learning the history of how the railway changed everything and the scenic views of the Upper Snoqualmie Valley, including several filming locations along the railway line. Sample wines from Kyle MacLachlan’s own winery, Pursued by Bear, and enjoy cherry pie and a “damn fine cup of coffee” from the real RR Diner: Twede’s Cafe!

*Yearly event schedules subject to change dependent on staff and equipment availability. Locomotives and coaches are historic and may need to be swapped out on short notice.

Join the NRM in welcoming the holidays with a unique opportunity to meet with Santa inside a train car. The Museum has two different excursions available:
Santa Limited, a 2-hour round trip excursion where families spend an hour at the Railway History Campus to enjoy cookies and cocoa, seasonal decorations and activities, and visit with Santa inside the restored Chapel Car.
Yuletide Express, a 25 or 40-minute round trip train ride where Santa visits families aboard the train. Recommended for families with younger children who may not enjoy the longer option.

The Northwest Railway Museum offers additional programming throughout the year – some seasonally available, others arranged in advance.
Join an educator-led experience at the Railway History Campus. Tour the Train Shed Exhibit Hall, the Conservation and Restoration Workshop, for a first-hand look at current restoration projects before boarding the train. The round-trip experience lasts approximately 3 hours. Intended for ages 13+.
The Museum offers field trips, with or without a train ride, for learners of all ages. We also offer the option to have one of the Museum educators come to you! For more detailed information, please visit the School & Youth Programs page.
A birthday party at the Northwest Railway Museum gets you a private party space in the classroom, a ride aboard the historic train, and complimentary admission to the Train Shed Exhibit Hall!
