After 5 years as volunteer and program coordinator, Emily Boersma has assumed her new role as the Museum’s Collections Registrar. She looks forward to learning more about the Museum’s collections while applying her knowledge and skillsets to organize and preserve railway documents and objects for future generations. Prior to NRM, Emily worked in museums in the southeast U.S. and Washington State. Emily is grateful for the opportunity to have served as program coordinator and getting to work with the Museum’s talented volunteers!
With this change, the Museum welcomes Matt McDonnal! Matt comes to the Museum from California, most recently as a State Park Interpreter with the Four Rivers Sector of California State Parks. While in this role, Matt also served as the Collections Manager and Volunteer Coordinator for Pacheco State Park.
