Lantern, Railroad

Adlake Kero short globe lantern. Cap is printed with words Adlake Kero and brim is printed CMStP&P (Chicago Milwaukee St Paul and Pacific). It has a contempory globe marked CNX (corning no–nex) and Made in the USA. It has a Dressel kerosene font that is marked Dressel/ Arlington NJ. The wick is marked Badger and is very clean. The bottom of the lamp is printed Adlake Kero 1–63 (1st quarter, Jan–March 1963)/ USA/ CANADA/ PATENTED. The lower part of the cage is somewhat warped. It has a hole drilled in the center bottom part of the lamp perhaps from a previous electrical conversion. The globe and chimney of the lamp are very clean and overall the lamp is in pretty good condition.
