Three train crew uniform hats made by Carlson & Company, Uniform Tailors, 325 W. Jackson, Chicago, Ill. Sizes 7 3/8. Black hat trimmed in black grosgrain ribbon. Gold colored cord above and below the black ribbon. Attaching the lower knotted gold cord are two gold buttons with the BN logo made by Waterbury Companies Inc. of Connecticut. Centered on the front of the black ribbon is a gold nameplate that says conductor. The brim of the cap is vinyl. The inside brim is trimmed in leather and a tag on the inside of the hat gives the hats size.
