The Museum's train can be seen in the background waiting.The Northwest Railway Museum’s Snoqualmie Valley Wine Train returned on Friday, May 8th, 2026, offering guests an evening of scenic railroad travel, local wines, and live entertainment through the upper Snoqualmie Valley.

Wines from their winery stand on the table in front of them.This special event featured tastings from two Woodinville wineries, Sparkman Cellars and Mark Ryan Winery, paired with a unique journey aboard the Museum’s historic train.  Guests began the evening at Snoqualmie Depot with the first tasting before departing eastbound through the valley.  Upon reaching Bridge 35 above the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River, the train paused to allow passengers to enjoy views of the river and surrounding scenery before returning westbound to the Railway History Campus and Train Shed Exhibit Hall for the evening’s second tasting experience.

The Eastside Saxophone Quartet plays in the Train Shed Exhibit Hall.At the Railway History Campus, guests enjoyed live music performed by Eastside Saxophone Quarter while exploring the Train Shed Exhibit Hall and sampling additional wines.  Following the stop at the Railway History Campus, passengers continued toward Snoqualmie Falls before returning to Snoqualmie Depot to conclude the evening.

Events like the Snoqualmie Valley Wine Train help support the Northwest Railway Museum’s ongoing preservation, education, and railroad operations programs while offering guests a memorable way to experience the region’s railroad history.
